When did Genshin Impact come out?

Genshin Impact is one of the most popular and highest-earning games globally at the moment and is available for PC, mobile and PlayStation. The RPG game takes place in the world of Teyvat, in which players play the role of a Traveler who has been separated from the twin and trapped by one of the gods.
The game is developed by and published by miHoYo, a Chinese game development studio. Genshin Impact grossed over $1 billion in the first six months of its release and overtook Pokémon Go to become the fastest title to earn $1 billion on mobile.
When did Genshin Impact come out?
Genshin Impact was released globally on 28th September 2020 for PC, mobile and PlayStation 4 and later for PlayStation 5 on 28th April 2021. As of now, Nintendo Switch owners are deprived of it; however, the game is scheduled to release on the Switch in the future.
Genshin Impact will celebrate its first anniversary on 28th September 2021, and to celebrate it, miHoYo is organising Genshin Concert 2021 - Melodies of an Endless Journey in collaboration with artists from the US and South Korea.
In addition to this, the Engraved Wishes Anniversary web event has also begun in which players can send their wishes, and out of them, the wishes of 50,000 players will be engraved on a real-life Paimon block.
Genshin Impact is continuously hitting different milestones as its latest update, 2.1, has recorded a five times increase in player spending in the first week of its release.
